After the launch of SmartPLAY, members of the public only need to submit one single electronic ballot application form via the Internet, mobile apps or smart self-service stations installed across leisure venues within a specified period to enrol in sports and recreation programmes held across the 18 districts. Such an arrangement will make it easy for members of the public to enrol in sports and recreation programmes within a specified period without the hassles of always keeping an eye on the enrolment dates of various programmes across districts. In addition, it will also prevent the overlapping of programme sessions allocated to the same participant. As such, members of the public can neither submit duplicate applications nor be allocated concurrent sessions. Above all, the long queues at booking counters and the network congestion caused by the first-come-first-served approach can thus be avoided. | ||
