Self Check-in for Facility Booking and Sports and Recreation Programme and Competitions
Fee-charging sports and recreation venues are normally provided with smart self-service stations or self check-in devices. Members of the public only need to check-in for session or programme with their smart identity card in a more easy and user-friendly manner. For sports and recreation venues without smart self-service stations, members of the public can complete check-in procedures using the GPS function of the relevant mobile apps. LCSD’s staff and programme instructors will monitor the check-in process as appropriate to prevent abuse use. Apart from strengthening the protection of privacy, part of the administrative effort can be saved so that the instructors can focus on coaching, thereby increasing the efficiency of venue operation and quality of service.
